Rye High Jinx is the hour-long 2015 Senior Movie about Judson Ellis (a RHS senior) and Judd Rothstein (a RHS teacher), who switch bodies. I directed, co-produced, and co-edited the movie. The other main crew members were Michael Chen, Judd Rothstein, Judson Ellis, Alexandros Koutsogeorgas, and Tim Hardis. Check out the trailer below!
This was a super long project — the original idea was developed by a group of students who were seniors the year before us. The six of us then spent the first semester of senior year creating a 55-page script, and the second semester filming and editing the movie. It was a marathon, but it was a blast.

In sleepy hamlet Rye in fair New York
The oracle did say, ten score ago,
A transformation there will soon occur
To rend its quiet people to and fro
‘Twas said two men born on the eighth of May
Two men of different class and different life
When the youngest man does turn 18
Will then collide and to their town bring strife
For on that day the stars of Gemini
Align with Triton, Neptune’s seventh moon
And then will bring a solar tide of change
Two men colliding, life and order hewn
Two men, aye, of different class and life
One born a prince of men, one trodding mud
Will switch their souls and swap their consciousness
A joke of fate that both men are named Judd.
